Delete your MythStride account

How to request deletion

Use the form at the bottom of this page and enter the email address of your MythStride account. You do not need to be signed in or to have the app installed.

You can also start deletion from inside the app, under Legal, privacy, and account.

If you no longer have access to the account email, write to contato@playmythstride.com so we can guide verification by another route.

Ownership verification

After the request, we send a single-use verification link to the email address you provided. Deletion only proceeds once that link is opened and confirmed.

For safety, this page always returns the same response whether or not an account exists for that address. That prevents the page from being used to find out whether someone plays MythStride.

The link is valid for a limited time. If it expires, simply request a new one.

What happens after confirmation

A confirmed request is recorded and the account enters a waiting period before final deletion. During that period, deletion can still be cancelled from inside the app.

Once the waiting period ends, deletion is carried out automatically by our systems.

What is deleted

Deletion removes the account and the data linked to you.

• Account, credentials, and active sessions
• Profile, display name, and profile picture
• Recorded runs, including GPS route points and average heart rate
• Progression, level, experience, quests, and achievements
• Inventory, equipment, gold, and diamonds
• Friendships, challenges, group and event participation
• Aethron context, memories, and messages
• Connections to external services such as Strava
• Preferences and notifications

What may be kept

Some records are not erased at the same moment because they exist to protect every player or to meet legal obligations. When that happens, they stop being linked to your identity.

• Security audit records, kept in anonymized form for a limited period for fraud and abuse prevention
• Purchase records, where they exist, kept in anonymized form for the period required by legal and tax obligations
• Messages you sent to support, kept for as long as needed to handle and record the request
• Aggregated, anonymous results that do not identify you, such as totals for events that already ended

Before deleting: group leadership

If you lead a group, transfer leadership to another member or close the group before completing deletion. Otherwise deletion is blocked so that it does not dissolve the group for the other players.

The app shows this on the account deletion screen.

Items, gold, and diamonds

Gold, diamonds, items, and equipment exist only inside MythStride. They are lost on deletion and cannot be recovered, transferred, or converted into money.

Deletion is permanent

Once carried out, deletion cannot be undone. Progress, inventory, and run history cannot be restored.

Creating a new account with the same email starts a journey from zero.
