Services and integrations
The external services MythStride uses in this version, what each one does, and which data is involved.
How to read this page
Each service below states its real situation in this version of MythStride: active, optional and enabled by you, or included in the app but turned off.
Google — sign-in, Play services, and Wear OS
Status: active in this version.
Used for optional Google account sign-in, for the Google Play services the app requires, and for local communication between the phone and the Wear OS watch during a run.
Data involved: your Google account identifier when you choose that sign-in, technical device data, and the messages exchanged between phone and watch.
Strava
Status: optional, enabled by you.
When you connect Strava, authorization happens on Strava itself and MythStride can then import running activities, including time, duration, distance, and the activity identifier.
The connection can be removed at any time from the integrations panel in the app or from your Strava account settings.
Resend — account emails
Status: active in this version.
Used to send operational emails such as email verification, password recovery, account deletion links, and beta list communications.
Data involved: your email address and the content of the message sent.
Cloudflare — API traffic
Status: active in this version.
Used to deliver and protect traffic between the app and the MythStride API.
Data involved: connection data such as IP address and technical request information.
Sentry — crash reports
Status: active in this version for error diagnosis.
The app may send technical reports when a failure occurs, with the error message and the stack trace. The integration is configured not to attach user identifiers, headers, or request content.

Google AdMob
Status: included in the app, turned off in this version.
The AdMob SDK ships with the app because of an optional rewarded-ad feature. In this version the feature is off: MythStride does not request or display ads.
If advertising is turned on in a later version, this page, the Privacy Policy, and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before that happens.
GitHub — website hosting
Status: active in this version.
This website is published as static content on GitHub Pages infrastructure.
Data involved: connection data from visitors to these pages.

MythStride infrastructure
The API, the database, profile-image storage, and the language model used by Aethron run on infrastructure under our control, not on an external artificial-intelligence provider.

Processing carried out directly by MythStride follows our Privacy Policy. The services above have their own terms and policies.
